FrostMUD.Com / FrostMUD.DynDns.Org
As you all may have noticed, the main server hasn't been responding for a few days. This is due to my main provider, SixNix.Net, getting their connection to the data centre cut because of the constant DoS attacks. This means that the server that was on the 10mbit will no longer be available for public use. Also, all data on that server will likely be unrecoverable. But as you all recall, in the agreement, I am not responsible for your backups.

Now for the good news. If you all recall, in the old MOTD, I put up a post about the new server. Well, this means I will be moving you all to the new server. What does this mean exactly? Well, it means no more having to wait a few days to get the server up after an outage, onsite support (me), and speedy monthly reboots as I will be literally right next to the machine. This server will be running the following as you can see here:

http://frostmud.dyndns.org/phpsysinfo

As you can all see from that link, this server has over four times the processing capacity of it's predecessor. Also, it will be including all the latest compilers and libraries offered by the Linux community. Also, to bring it up again, remember that I will LITERALLY right next to the server so if anything goes wrong I can simply touch a couple keys and be right at the console. So, this means improved service, account activation time and much much more. Also, this server has been in development for a couple months now and will be offering a huge landslide of new user features.

So, if you'd like to get an account on this machine (if you are a current user) email me at alaskangoth@yahoo.com and I will get back to you as fast as humanly possible. So, in conclusion, I'm really sorry about what happened but I had no control over it.
