[THE BUSINESS]
SDS PC Repair is a home based PC repair business owned and operated by Matthew Swanner. SDS PC Repair
started in December of 2006 and has since repaired many peoples PC's successfully and has been highly referred by
all of his past clients.
[THE MISSION]
SDS understands fully that not everyone can afford the rediculous pricing of commercial
repairs and often times find themselves with a dead computer that won't turn on. Their $500.00 to $2000.00
investment then becomes no more than an oversized doorstop. SDS offers affordable PC repair for individuals
of all incomes and also offers sliding scale rates to low-income households and individuals who cannot afford
the regular rates that SDS charges for services.
[THE OWNERS]
The founder of SDS is Matthew Swanner. At the age of 5, he gained a growing fascination with computers and began
researching and programming all makes and models of computers. At the age of 5 1/2, he successfully installed a
300 baud Radio Shack modem into his parents Tandy 1000 Personal Computer. Since that day, he realized he had a
natural niche' for fixing and upgrading computers and at the age of 15 began repairing other peoples computers,
asking for only gratitude and the occasional snack in return.
In 2002, Matthew's financial situation grew dire and in order to pull in extra money to make ends meet, he began
fixing local residents computers in Clarksville, Tennessee for only $60.00 total. Running at a 100% success rate,
he began looking for additional work in retail stores, wanting to work in this field for a living. Met with defeat and
his lack of actual certifications, he was forced to move due to lack of income and found himself in Charlotte, North
Carolina.
In 2004, Matthew worked at several retail stores and expanded his knowledge of PC Repair daily. Finally, in 2006,
Matthew returned to performing freelance repairs and has since started SDS with almost 20 years of experience in
PC Repair, Diagnostics and Upgrades.
